Invasive species in the environmental context refers to an organism (plant, animal, or microbe) that is non-native to a particular ecosystem and whose introduction causes or is likely to cause economic or environmental harm or harm to human health. They are one of the leading drivers of biodiversity loss worldwide.
An Ionizing radiation is any type of radiation capable of producing ionization in materials it contacts; includes high-energy charged particles such as alpha and beta rays, and nonparticulate radiation such as gamma rays and X-rays.
Irrigation districts are Special units of local government that control the Bulk of surface water supplies in the West (Smith and Vaughan, 1988).
Irrigation field practices are Techniques that keep water in the field, more efficiently distribute water across the field, or encourage the retention of soil moisture (Kromm and White, 1990).
